Tzaar – Simplified Online Rules

This version uses a 7×7 grid with stacks. Each cell may contain a stack of pieces belonging to one player. You can move onto enemy stacks to capture them if your stack is equal or stronger, or move onto your own stacks to reinforce them.

• Players: Player 1 (blue) and Player 2 (red).
• Stacks: Each stack has a height (number of pieces).
• Move: Click one of your stacks, then click an adjacent cell to move.
• Capture: If you move onto an enemy stack with height ≤ yours, you capture it.
• Reinforce: Moving onto your own stack adds heights together.
• Goal: Reduce your opponent’s total stack count to zero.

Full Tzaar has three piece types and mandatory attacks; this neon version focuses on evaluating stack strength and choosing when to attack or reinforce.
