Pente – Online Rules & AI

This version lets you play Pente (five-in-a-row) against another human or the computer. The AI looks for lines of four, open threes, and blocking moves.

• Mode: Human vs Human or Human vs PC (you are Player 1, blue).
• Difficulty: Easy (random among decent moves), Medium (basic pattern heuristics), Hard (stronger blocking and extension).
• Goal: Make five stones in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
• Board size: 15×15 grid.

The AI prioritizes completing its own lines of four and blocking your threats. On higher levels it prefers central control and double threats. Use it as a training partner to practice reading patterns.
